Items should be placed at roadside at the end of your driveway during the week before. Large items only, no household garbage or construction trash, as it will not be accepted. This is the time to get rid of all those old refrigerators, freezers, furniture, peddle boats, mattresses, etc. (See List Below) Get those large items out or you will have to take them to site #9.
Electronics, small appliances, batteries, propane tanks, tires, etc. should be taken to the MacFarlane Street site in Parry Sound.

You may now drop off your old and used batteries at the waste transfer station or at Site #9. These include AA, AAA, 9 volt, 6 volt, C and D type Batteries. It does not include car or boat batteries (wet cell) which usually can be redeemed for a deposit at your local battery retailer.
Do not include your batteries in your regualr garbage. Keep separate and give them to the attendant.
